THE OTHER GUYS

The other guys are just too expensive if you are trying to ship with a budget in mind. There was even talk of a co-op of fellow r/c er’s moving planes across the U.S. but who could manage that program…? To move   large air-frames  “safely” Greyhound shipping has been the only place to turn. But shipping via Greyhound there are things you must know and procedures you must follow.

Shipping by bus

Shipping on a bus can be a bit tricky. We have listed some pro’s and con’s you should consider before shipping this way.    I do want to point out that our shipping history with Greyhound so far is  100% of NO DAMAGE and NO-LOSSES. We’ve had a great run with there service. But this is not to say we have been 100% trouble free.

If you can overlook the slow shipping times fir the buyers view its not a bad deal. From the sellers point of view things are a bit differant and the seller should be made aware of the effort that is needed to ship on the bus lines

Our mISSION

Making the hobby affordable

We set out to offer the best possible prices anywhere.

Making the hobby obtainable

Showing customers the proper way to enter the hobby. What to buy, what not to buy and when to spend the money.

Education

After your in-store purchase you should never leave the hobby shop without the sales tech giving you info on safety. Also, if you’re new to the hobby the shop should get you started on the proper way to gather info on your 1st flight. A good shop will have a program to get you in the field for your 1st flight.

If you are buying online, The shop should provide enough information on their website and offer phone support. It is up to you to ask since we have no idea of your skill level until we are told.

Nostalgia

We want to keep the “Old style” hobby shop alive. As an old man I still remember my first trip to a hobby shop. The smell of glue, fuel, balsa and walking down each aisle at a snails pace not wanting to take it all in. A shop with building supplies can be very hard to find these days.

Model Building

We do our best to promote model building. Traditional balsa builds can offer so many skills also creating your own designs and building with foams, composites and other materials will teach life lessons that you will carry for life.

The building is where all the knowledge lies. Model building will teach algebra, geometry, plan reading, planning, patience and more but mostly you gain self-confidence. Knowing that you can do for “yourself” is paramount in your child’s life. This puts a firm foundation in place for your child to grow on for many years.

Service

When did the customer become an inconvenience? I can go on for days about this subject. In short, we will not disappoint you or your expectations. We take price in our service and stand behind all our products.
